I Love LA on HBO Max
It’s so funny…every character is hateable but like in a fun Gen Z way. I love Rachel Sennott!!!
Chamomile lavender tea
So so so so good, it calms me so much at the end of the day. It’s been my ritual, and I am actually running out of this tea and need to get more immediately.
Fluffy robe
Winter just isn’t winter without a lovely, fluffy robe to slip on in the evening. Mine is from Old Navy. You may purchase from wherever they sell fluffy robes. I also think robes are so chic.
Jelly cats
For a birthday gift, I received a croissant jelly cat, and I am so happy and joyful. Jelly cats bring me whimsy, so I think everyone should get a jelly cat. I also have a marshmallow jelly cat bag charm.
3 habits
Morning pages
I have been pretty consistent with morning pages since November, and it really helps me start my day off right. I find myself being the most anxious first thing in the morning, so it helps to get all of those thoughts out of my brain.
Vitamins
I was really bad at taking my vitamins, but now I have alarms set to go off so I take them when I am supposed to. I worked with my doctor to make sure I was taking the right vitamins to stay on top of my health!
Evening skincare
The most essential habit in the winter! I pull out my favorite rich moisturizer in the winter because it helps keep my skin hydrated. It honestly feels like a treat because of how hydrating it feels on my skin.
2 bucket list items
Go to my second national park
I went to the Rocky Mountains earlier this year, and now I really want to visit another national park. I enjoy being outdoors and going on easy hikes, so I'm hoping to visit another national park soon.
Learn to play an instrument again
I recently began taking violin classes, and I am super excited to reconnect with music again. I last played the violin in middle school, so it has been nearly 15 years! But I was thrilled to pick up my violin and bow again.
1 theme to muse on
I was watching a vlog on YouTube by Hannah Elise, who is a creator I’ve loved for a while. She was talking about how she wanted to learn how to slow down and intentionally practice slowing down. That’s the theme I want to focus on for this year. I want to slow down so I can slow down my thoughts and ground myself. My anxiety makes me feel like I need to do everything quickly, but it keeps me from relaxing and getting real rest. I want to walk more slowly to the train and take a beat before responding. I want to have a slow night routine to help me rest and relax better.
See ya!
Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you next week!
