February Journal Prompts

on love....duh

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are all celebrating love in all the wonderful forms it enters our lives. I know I will be because I love love. I have always been a hopeless romantic and don’t believe that will ever change.

This Valentine's Day, I’d like to share some journal prompts for the month. To be honest, I have not been journaling as much as I’d like recently. Business school is kicking my butt and I just started a new job so I have 0 time. That’s also why you haven’t seen a newsletter from me in the last couple of weeks. All my free time is dedicated to learning about corporate finance and taking a breather when I can. But writing is my first love so I will always return to her.

These journal prompts are under the theme of love. My ideas and thoughts on love have changed a lot in the past year. They are still changing. I’m learning to love myself, love others, and love the world I exist in. I’m learning to love without fear, though that is the hardest one to learn. The universe keeps sending me lessons on that one. Nevertheless, love is all around us and within us, so it begs to be understood. And on the day of love, what else is there to do except explore what it means to us?

How can you show yourself some love this month? How can you show yourself love daily?

How do you want to be loved by the people in your life?

What makes you feel loved in your romantic, familial, and platonic relationships?

How do you define love? How have you defined it in the past? In what ways has that changed over the years?

How do you show love and appreciation to others? Is it in the ways that make them feel loved?

Write a love letter to yourself and be specific about what you appreciate about yourself.

What limiting beliefs do you hold regarding love? How can you challenge those?

Rom-coms and romance movies you should watch because I said so:
